Project Description
This ornament design provides a more expressive entrance threshold to Edgerton Park. Intersecting geometries and a germinating vegetal stem create the ornament’s nucleus, which is then articulated through seriality (present in the cresting components on the stone wall), radiality (present in the formation of the lamps), and phasing (present in the design of the gate itself). These elements register geometries insinuating an ordered nature and create cohesive ornamentation connecting the visitor to the park and the greenhouse inside.
