Travel is a core component of architectural instruction in an interconnected and globalized world. Each advanced studio travels for one week each semester in order to visit the sites for design projects and to gain contextual understanding of the key issues involved in the studio briefs.
Many students also travel during the summer as part of the drawing program in Rome or for summer travel fellowships.
