Susana La Porta Drago
Susana teaches Architecture Practice and Management, bringing to class 30 years of professional experience from Pelli Clarke and Partners, where she became a partner and led various award-winning projects. Building on this long trajectory of timeless projects that celebrate their cultural context, Susana co-founded La Porta Drago | Zemborain Architects in 2023 and is currently working on residential and master planning projects.
She is part of a Yale interdisciplinary team studying the use of hydroceramics in building envelopes as a passive cooling strategy. Susana recently participated in the NCARB Scholar in Professional Practice event and served as co-chair of the CT AIA Professional Knowledge Community, where she remains actively involved. She holds a Master of Architecture from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Architecture from the Universidad de Buenos Aires.
Susana has been a guest speaker at the Bienal de Arquitectura de Buenos Aires, Universidad de Belgrano, Universidad de Buenos Aires, and Colegio de Arquitectos de Jujuy.
