Izzy Kornblatt
Izzy Kornblatt is a critic and architectural historian. He has contributed to several books, published in a variety of publications, and curated two exhibitions, among other projects. He currently serves as a contributing editor at Architectural Record. Originally from Northampton, Massachusetts, he studied philosophy at Swarthmore College and design studies at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, where he received the 2019 Thesis Prize for his study “Architecture for a New World: Louis Kahn and Philadelphia.” In 2020, he co-founded Design Yard Sale, a fundraiser for racial justice that sold and auctioned hundreds of artworks by designers around the world.
