Jill Siegel
Director of Development and Alumni Relations
Jill Siegel has more than 30 years of experience in arts and education fund raising. At YSoA, she is working to build a robust development and alumni relations program to support scholarships, endow faculty and programs, and more deeply engage alumni. Prior to her current role, she served in a dual role with the Yale School of Art, and from 2004-2017, Jill was Deputy Director for Advancement for the Yale University Art Gallery as, overseeing communications, visitor services, membership, major gifts, board relations, and special events. In her 18+ years, she has been involved with raising more than $200 million for Yale. Early in her career, Jill worked in development at the Neuberger Museum of Art at Purchase College, the Chazen Museum of Art at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and the Whitney Museum of American Art. For 25 years, she has held the distinction of Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE,) and has spoken at national and international conferences on stewardship, audience development, and fund raising. Jill is a graduate of the University of Virginia and earned a master’s degree in art history from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
