One point perspective

John Fairburn's Plan of Westminster and London 1801 shows the West India Docks at the north end of the Isle of Dogs. The rest of the peninsula is rendered as a marshy area with few roads and a ferry at the southernmost tip.

Four abandoned storefronts. 1) a dingy, derelict, dark room. A crumbling sign for a sustainable furniture shop. Shelves on the walls, and a hole punched through with the words “CRAWL”. 2) an old cafe. Rotted ceiling panels cover the counter and floor. A bright green and purple “THANK YOU” sign. 3) the remnants of a nail salon. Full nail-polish display intact, dusty. Mani-pedi chairs like beached whales, nasty. Someone has spray-painted in terrible colors. 4) A narrow white room. White tiles, pale green strip. A fallen angel.
