Traveling Circus Tent: Devin Jernigan
This exhibition displays a 1920s traveling circus concessions tent recreated from archival documents, master tentmaker sources, and historical photos. Circus tents were temporary and mobile architecture that allowed the circus to reach the American hinterland and spurred its capitalization as popular entertainment.
