Eric C. H. de Bruyn is Professor of Modern and Contemporary Art at Freie Universität, Berlin. He is an editor of Grey Room and he has written for, among other publications, Art Journal, Artforum, and Texte zur Kunst. He recently co-edited Futurity Report with Sven Lütticken (Berlin: Sternberg Press, 2020), the first volume of Counter-History series, edited by Ana Teixeira Pinto, de Bruyn and Lütticken. His research areas focus on media and film studies, the intersections between artistic/architectural practice, critical theory, psychology and mathematics.
