This fall, the M.E.D. Working Group for Anti-Racism is organizing a series of roundtable conversations with spatial practitioners, activists, and scholars whose work contends with the complex relationship between race, space, and social justice.
This Zoom event is for the second roundtable of this series—ARCHIVE, which will bring together Cierra Chenier (Noir ‘N Nola) Mel Isidor (A Voice at the Table), and Amrita Raja (Counter Canon). While each of these individuals have built distinct archives of diverse scopes and localities, they all center on foregrounding BIPOC spaces, individuals, and histories. We’re looking forward to hosting them together to bring their work and methodologies into conversation.
This event will be open to the public, and registration is required. Sessions will be recorded and made available on our webpage: https://www.architecture.yale.edu/academics/programs/3-m-e-d/working-group-for-anti-racism
